The WILVORST brand stands for particularly fine and elegant menswear. In almost 100 years of tradition and turbulent times, WILVORST became the outfitter for weddings. Now the groom-to-be will find elegant suits as well as matching vests and shoes, tuxedos and tail coats, everything for the best day in their lives – and beyond.
FINE FABRIC FROM SZCZECIN
It happened in the Polish town of Szczecin in 1916. Company founder Wilhelm Vordemfelde took over a cloth and fabric factory. He changed the name of the company which had been Graf & Teuchert, into WILVORST. Quickly the business developed and had to be extended in 1929. Modern technology for quick and efficient production is being used under the name WILVORST. In years of frequent changes, the company remains successful. Now residing in Northeim, the company has moved under a larger roof: the Brinkmann Group. Also, the possibilities of marketing and image management have changed over the decades.
FINE, FESTIVE FASHION WITH A TOUCH OF STAR GLAMOUR
Since 1965, WILVORST has been specializing in festive menswear. High quality, but also nifty marketing characterize WILVORST ever since. Like in 1985, when a Denver Clan collection was produced, accompanying the cult TV series. Or in the early 90s, when the hosts of popular TV station Sat1 wore the elegant suits. The range of testimonials includes the musicians of the Russian chamber philharmonic to the German Tenors, from Peter Maffay to soccer coach Mirko Slomka.
The collections are characterized by very high fabric quality, elegance and an ever-changing, modern cut. Vests and accessories are available in the typical muted shades as well as subtle flower patterns. The WILVORST collections are now also available at the WILVORST outlet shop in Wolfsburg. Besides a variety of other top brands, WILVORST’s exclusive festive wear can be tried on and acquired here at the designer outlets in Wolfsburg.
