Your available points balance and the points used for your tier progress are two different values. Your membership tier is based on the points you have earned in the last 12 months.

How do tiers work?

The Outlets Insider Club has four membership tiers: White, Blue, Red and Orange. You start in White. As soon as you earn enough points within the last 12 months, you are moved automatically into the appropriate tier. There is nothing else you need to do.

How do I earn points?

You earn 1 point for every €1 you spend at participating stores. Your purchase must be scanned through the app so the points can be added to your account.

How many points do I need for each tier?

our tier is based on the points you have earned within the last 12 months. As soon as you reach one of the following thresholds, you are moved up automatically:

• Blue: 750 points
• Red: 1,500 points
• Orange: 3,000 points

Do my points expire?

Your points balance expires if your account is inactive for 365 consecutive days – meaning no purchase has been scanned through the app during that period.

As long as you keep shopping at Designer Outlets Wolfsburg and have your app scanned when you make a purchase, your points balance will remain active. The value of the purchase does not matter.

What is my “tier anniversary” date?

Your tier anniversary is personal to you: it is 365 days after the date you joined your current tier. On that date, we check how many points you have earned in the previous 12 months and re-confirm your tier.

If you have continued to earn enough points, you will remain in your current tier or move up automatically if you have already reached the next threshold. In many cases, you may not notice any visible change.

What do I need to do to keep my current tier?

Keep earning points by having your purchases scanned through the app. At your next tier anniversary, you need to have earned at least the following number of points during the previous 12 months:

• Keep Blue: 750+ points
• Keep Red: 1,500+ points
• Keep Orange: 3,000+ points

If you have not reached the threshold: You will move to the tier that matches the number of points you earned during the previous 12 months.

I have reached the points shown for the next tier, but I have not moved up yet – why?

Your home screen shows two different values: your current points balance at the top, and the progress indicator showing the points you have earned within the last 12 months. Only the second value determines your tier.

These values are often close, but they can differ – for example, if you have redeemed points for a reward or if you have been collecting points for longer than 12 months.

For your tier status, always use the progress indicator as the accurate value to watch. If it is not full yet, you have not reached the next tier – even if your available points balance looks higher.
